Ms. Darlington survived the poisoned only to grow up to face sexual abuse, rape from 4.5 years old, and domestic violence. Ms. Darlington survived domestic violence as a teenager when she was severely beaten because she refused to be in a relationship.

 

In her young adulthood she nearly lost her left eye when she was hit on her face with a large bottle. Later, her ex-husband viciously attacked her when he yanked and held her hair as he tried to murder her by pushing her out of an 18-wheeler truck while he was driver. Another incident of abuse was when he attacked her with a butcher knife as the tip pierced her chest and he pinned her down with his body and threatened to murder her if she ever call 911 again because she refused to allow him to rape her.

 

Ms. Fraser-Darlington is a single mother with two adult children and lives in North Carolina. Ms. Darlington holds a MSW from Fordham University, a BSSW from Adelphi University, a MS in Internet Marketing and a MS in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Full Sail University. She has an Advanced Certificate in Social Media from USF. She is a formal special education teacher, a psychotherapist for 24 years, a certified Life Coach with Steve Jones and a motivational speaker with Les Brown.
